Specialists from the Institute of Experimental Medicine (IEM), a member of the World-Class Research Center (WCRC) Center for Personalized Medicine, have discovered two new types of bacteriophages, natural antimicrobial agents that can become optimal candidates for the treatment of enterococcal infections.

The discovery was made by scientists led by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Laboratory of Functional Genomics and Proteomics of Microorganisms at the IEM Artemy Goncharov.
