The Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution ‘Institute of Experimental Medicine’ (FSBSI ‘IEM’) is a scientific organization carrying out fundamental and exploratory research in the field of biology and medicine. Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution ‘Institute of Experimental Medicine’ In accordance with the Federal Law of September 27, 2013 No. 253-F3 ‘On the Russian Academy of Sciences, Reorganization of State Academies of Sciences and Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation’ and Order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 2591-r dated December 30, 2013 The institution was transferred to the jurisdiction of the Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations (FANO Russia). By order of the Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations of Russia dated December 4, 2014 No. 1123, the institution was renamed into the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution ‘Institute of Experimental Medicine’. In accordance with the order of the Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations of Russia dated June 30, 2015 No. 335, the Institution was reorganized in the form of annexation of the Federal State Budgetary Healthcare Institution Polyclinic No. 1 of the Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg). In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated May 15, 2018 No. 215 ‘On the structure of federal executive bodies’ and the order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated June 27, 2018 No. 1293-r, the Institution was transferred to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
