Sankt-Peterburgskie vedomosti published a long interview with Dr. med. A.E. Goncharov

The problem of almost free access to antibiotics in a pandemic has led to a threatening situation: especially strong strains of microorganisms, for example, staphylococci and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, are resistant to all existing antibiotics. In turn, this has become a serious problem for hospitals: these bacteria often infect patients in intensive care units. Read in an interview with Artemiy Evgenievich Goncharov (Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Laboratory of Functional Genomics and Proteomics of Microorganisms at the IEM) about the search for an alternative to antibiotics and the study of bacteriophages.
