Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until the 31^st of October, 2022.

The Russian Academy of Natural Sciences is holding a competition for the title of laureate of the International Ecological Prize EcoWorld-2022. The award is a public award for outstanding achievements in environmental protection and environmental safety, as well as in other environmental activities aimed at sustainable development in the 21^st century.

The Award is aimed at promoting the development of environmental policy, raising the level of environmental education and environmental culture of the population, developing environmental science, disseminating environmentally friendly technologies, improving public health and preserving biodiversity.

The competition is held in the following categories:

• Environmental Policy and Environment;
• Ecology, protection of the rights of citizens to a favorable environment, preservation of the natural, historical and cultural heritage of the territories;
• Ecological education, enlightenment and culture;
• Ecological and patriotic activities, restoration of natural and historical heritage, creation of tourist and excursion programs and projects;
• Youth programs, projects in the field of ecology and environmental protection (participants are young people up to 35 years old inclusive);
• Resource-saving and environmentally friendly technologies, processing of production and consumption waste;
• Environmentally friendly goods and food;
• Ecology and human health;
• Conservation of biodiversity and natural landscapes;
• Environmentally friendly technologies and materials in low-rise construction, wooden housing construction;
• Landscape and park design, modern architectural solutions and landscape painting.

 

Russian and foreign individuals (specialists, scientists, environmental practitioners, state and municipal employees, and others) are invited to participate in the competition individually and as part of teams of authors, as well as enterprises and organizations. Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until the 31^st of October, 2022.
