The brief history of the Laboratory
The laboratory was established at the end of 2011 at the suggestion of the academician G.A. Sofronov and the decision of the IEM Scientific Council. The creation of the laboratory was dictated by the need of increasing the level and expansion of scientific research conducted at the IEM.
The main areas of research
identification / characterization of peptides, proteins and microorganisms by mass spectrometry methods;
theory and practice of (bio) chemical identification;
mass spectral libraries;
metabolomics and lipidomics.
The Main Scientific Results over the past 5 years
Updated version of the principles of chemical identification;
creation of libraries of mass spectra of toxic peptides and bacteria of the genus Streptococcus;
determination of blood plasma lipids by several methods of mass spectrometry;
A new approach to the identification of microorganisms by MALDI mass spectrometry.
Research assistants of the Laboratory:
- Lugovkina Natalya Vladimirovna, research assistant, sample preparation for mass spectrometric analysis.
- Golovina Anna Aleksandrovna, research assistant, high-resolution mass spectrometry with electrospray, processing of the results of mass spectrometric analy
